Paying Transient Occupancy Taxes
Chapter 3.08 of the Del Norte County Code, entitled “Transient Occupancy Tax,” requires Transient Occupancy Tax (Motel Tax) to be collected for all motel units, vacation rental units, and rented RV units that are rented within the county (exclusive of the Crescent City city limits) and are rented for a period of less than 30 days to an individual tenant.

In Home Supportive Services (IHSS), a program under Adult and Family Services of the Social Services Agency, is a Federal, State & County-funded program designed to assist the aged, blind or disabled to remain in their own homes when they are no longer able to fully care for themselves or maintain their homes through routine household tasks.
