Section:    2.24.030    Unclaimed property‑Holding period

 

The county sheriff shall keep and maintain all unclaimed person­al property coming into his possession in a convenient and safe place, whether the property comes into his possession by finding or maintained as evidence or otherwise, and shall hold the unclaimed property for a period of at least six months.
