Section:    2.32.060    County surveyor

 

A.  The office of county surveyor shall be filled by appointment of the board of supervisors, such officer to serve at the will of the board of supervisors as provided in Government Code Section 27550.

B.  Pursuant to Government Code Section 24308, the county sur­veyor shall possess the qualifications required by state law, and shall be the unit director of the engineering and surveying division of the community development department.

C.  The county surveyor's immediate supervisor shall be the director of community development. (Ord. 96‑14 § 2, 1996.)
