"Lot" means land occupied or unoccupied, which may be occupied by a building and its accessory buildings, or by a dwelling group and its accessory buildings, together with such open spaces as are required under the provisions of Chapters 20.02 — 20.60 having not less than the minimum area required by Chapters 20.02 — 20.60 for a building site in the district in which such lot is situated, and having access to a public road.
